I started writing about my eating disorder as a way to make sense of what I was going through. I wrote poems, mostly, and in those early years, never dreamed I’d share my struggle with an audience.
In this video, I share what I think are the two main reasons people start writing about eating disorders, as well as why I think it is a powerful tool for collective recovery.
